It is about time that we talked about Restoration Hardware. Ever since I could remember I have been obsessed with Restoration Hardware. Not only do I love walking distance to one, but I also just visited the RH in Chicago. I may or may not have spent 2 hours inside just wondering around looking at every single detail of every collection.
Did I mention their is a restaurant in the middle of their so called 'showroom'?
Also they have an open bar where everyone orders champagne and sips it out of china while shopping?
This is my kinda place.
Correction. My kinda home.
RH is starting to come into the hospitality design world. And I am freaking out. As I'm sure others of you are. Also RH came out with a membership program. For only $100 a year you will receive 25% off every item. Does this mean that design firms will pay the $100 then put RH in every hotel because of hoe reasonably priced it will be now? Or are people going to be concerned that it isn't 'hospitality' quality? Personally I think their quality is quite high even for residential design.
Am i predicting the future? Is RH going to be the go to for high end case goods?
All I know is I will certainly take advance of my 25% off while furnishing my new apartment.
Also every time I'm in Chicago, you'll know where to find me.
(Totally blogging while watching Gossip Girl so the xoxo felt only natural)
